Founder
Hamid Madhoun
Hamid studied Marketing at Saint Mary's University in Halifax, and later sharpened his digital marketing skills at Algonquin College in Ottawa.
He joined a mobile start up as a search engine optimization specialist where he helped the app rank high in Apple store and in Search results.
This lead to more visiblity which expanded the app’s visbiility and increase the number of uses it has.
Later, driven by an entrepreneurial mindset, Hamid founded iSweatNot — an e-commerce brand that helped hundreds of people avoid underarm sweat with innovative sweatproof undershirts that stopped sweat leakage.
After having his first baby, Hamid took a long parental leave and started Nearby Booster.
The idea was to create a results-based Local SEO agency that helps small businesses with big growth potential — businesses often underserved by large agencies — thrive in their local markets.
This led to the foundation of Nearby Booster.
